February meeting, 2021

The Black Canyon Macintosh User Group meets this month on February 11th at 7 p.m. Due to the ongoing pandemic, our February meeting will be held as an online meeting. Details, and the link to join the meeting, are below:

For our February meeting we'll be covering a couple of things. First, member Richard Cox will present an overview of VPN (Virtual Private Network) technology, as well as cover some specific options for our members to try. Next, we'll have a discussion of the latest security issues in the Apple/Mac world, not to mention the internet as a whole. It continues to be a wild and wacky world out there in terms of best security practices on all our devices, and we'll do our best to cover all the latest news coming from security experts.

We'll also have our usual troubleshooting discussion for anyone who may be having some sort of problem or issue with their computer as well. Please come and share your experiences, or simply enjoy an informative discussion about all things Macintosh, and beyond…

People from all communities are encouraged to join us at any time. It's a great opportunity for members to get together and share their interests. Hope to see you there!
